- Site Safety Policy
Safety First. Always.
We operate under strict safety standards to protect our team, contractors, clients, and community throughout every stage of construction.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Standards
All personnel entering the site are required to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) based on the work being performed. This may include safety helmets, high-visibility clothing, protective footwear, gloves, eye protection, and, where necessary, hearing protection. PPE must be worn correctly at all times, kept in good condition, and replaced immediately if damaged or deemed unsafe. Ensuring proper use of PPE helps maintain a safe and compliant work environment for everyone on-site.
A Safe Site Is a Successful Site
Westpeak Constructions maintains a safety-driven culture aligned with Victorian regulations and industry best practices. Every project is delivered with a focus on preventing hazards, reducing risk, and ensuring safe working conditions at all times.
We actively promote safety awareness, training, and compliance to create a secure environment for everyone on-site.
Meeting Australian Occupational Health & Safety Standards
We comply with all relevant OH&S laws, codes of practice, and industry requirements across Melbourne and Victoria. This includes:
- Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Hazard identification and reporting procedures
- Mandatory site inductions
- Regular safety inspections
- Incident response protocols
Our goal is to maintain a fully compliant worksite that meets legal obligations and exceeds safety expectations.
